Three Sisters Waterfalls Trail is a 4 mile out and back trail located near Julian, California that is suppose to have a huge waterfall at the end of the hike... unfortunately there wasn't any water when we went, due to the drought but the hike in its self was still super fun and challenging. There are parts when it gets super steep and you have to propel down ropes to get to the bottom, this is the most fun part, but be careful or you'll fall like my friend lauren did, see picture at the bottom haha. There are tons of rocks to climb over to get to the waterfall spot and fun picture spots as well. I went with a bunch of friends, and we had the best time ever! Stop for some famous apple pie while in Jullian and make a fun day of it. Happy Hiking!
This is one of my most favorite adventures to go on with a big group of friends! This is the bridge to nowhere hike in Azuza, California. The hike is 5 miles along a stream bank with mini pools of water that you can jump in and have fun in on the way to the bridge. The bridge sometimes has groups of people on it that will be bungee jumping! I was in this group my first time doing the hike, feel free to watch the first time, maybe next time you will come back to be a jumper yourself! It is an insane rush! The bridge is beautiful, it has the stream of water going through it and a pool of water to the far right that you will see people jumping into all day. Bring lunch so you can eat it at this point of the hike and hangout around this area for a while before making the 5 mile trek back. This is not a hard 10 mile round trip hike, it has some slight uphills but is mostly just fun rocks to go across if you take the river all the way to the bridge and back. This is the perfect Sunday fun day adventure with friends! Wake up early, drive a couple cars out here, and bring your go pro's for tons of fun videos and pictures! Type in Bridge to Nowhere, Azuza to get directions to the site. Happy Hiking! Looking for a fun morning adventure with friends? I have the perfect place in mind. It's hidden away in Cabrillo National monument past the tide pools. You have to climb in the smallish cave entrance and then it opens up to a cave with a huge hole opening at the top, and two smaller openings where water comes in, (you can see one of the openings behind us in the picture). This is the perfect spot to explore in the morning with friends, we stayed for a little and then went to get coffee and Banzaii Bowls at BUZZED, that is a local favorite place that was amazing!
Okay so how do i get to this secret cave? Plug in Cabrillo National Monument into your phone. That will take you to the site entrance, there is a gate fee, i think its $5. Oh, and the monument doesn't open until 9 so keep that in mind! You want to be there right at 9 though because if you go any later you risk it being high tide and you won't be able to reach the cave! You can only go when it is LOW TIDE! Both times i have been, i went at 9 and was totally fine. Okay next you want to drive down the steep hill, with the view of the beautiful ocean on your right, keep going and park in the second to last lot. On your left you should see a trail, follow that down to the tide pools, there will be a set of stairs you go down as well, (see picture below for stairs), then go all the way to your far right, as far as you can and you will see caution tape saying do not pass.. pass that.. haha. You can see the small cave entrance to the left (picture below of my sis and her bf shows the entrance). Walk across the marshy stuff to get to the cave, and climb down the entrance to the opening of a huge secret cave! This is the COOLEST part! You guys are going to love it, it makes you feel like you are in Pirates of the Caribbean or something! Feel free to call or text or email if you have any questions about the Secret Cave or any other Adventure related questions! Happy Adventuring! This trail is the perfect way to start your morning! It is called VALIDO TRAIL in laguna beach. It is the perfect uphill workout to the top of the mountain that overlooks all of laguna beach. The hike won't take your more than 45 minutes up and down the mountain, unless you stop to take a million pictures like i do each time, then it will probably take you an hour. Stop by and get breakfast burritos to go and eat them up at the top, they have a cute little bench for you to sit back and enjoy the view from. I've been on this hike like 27 times and it still never gets old to me, its my favorite place to bring my friends. Simply plug in VALIDO TRAIL in your maps on your smartphones and the right place will pop up.Happy hiking!
