If you are in Laguna Beach - Main Beach - you must get gelato at my favorite gelato shop, Gelato Paradiso! ( 448 South Coast Highway ). The banana gelato is the best! I love to get it in a homemade waffle cone and then walk across the street to Laguna Main beach and eat it on the boardwalk and watch the sunset. Beach + Gelato = Best day ever! Have fun exploring Laguna!
We must take ADVENTURES in order to truly know where we belong My favorite spot to snorkel and scuba dive in Laguna beach is Shaw's cove. On a day where the visibility is great and the water is warm, you cannot get me out of the water. There are SO many amazing colorful fish along the right side of the cove, it's amazing! You will see tons of bright orange Garibaldi fish, starfish, king crabs, schools of smaller fish, and sometimes in the summer you'll see baby sand sharks and stingrays.. so make sure you shuffle your feet or wear diving booties! Bring your wetsuit, go pro and some friends and get in the water for an epic adventure day! The address is 999 Cliff Dr. Laguna Beach. Happy adventuring my fellow fish! -- Shoutout to Dive N' Surf for my favorite spring wetsuit I basically live in!
Heisler Park is the perfect place to bring family and walk around the gardens overlooking the ocean. It also is the perfect place to take nice pictures, I took my friends senior pictures here and know lots of groups come here to take their prom pictures as well. To get to the start of Heisler Park type in 361 Cliff Dr. Laguna Beach CA, 92651. From there you can walk along the path for a while and even go all the way to the gazebo that overlooks all of laguna beach to the far right, or you can head down the stairs to any of the beach access points.
I work and am in Laguna Beach 90% percent of the week but never knew about this hidden gem in the canyon. Such an easy walk to the lake and it is just so peaceful. Plug in Barbara's Lake on your maps, itll take you to a parking lot on your right if you are facing away from the ocean. It is $3 for parking, and you just follow the trail signs that say lake on them, you will come across one though where you can go left or right to go to the upper or lower view of the lake, go right! Much better view from the top. Happy hiking!!
